About

 Born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska, and like most, a few years after high school I sought direction, structure and adventure outside of home, leading me to join the US Army in 2006. Having served in Iraq, honorably discharging in 2009 and living in other areas in the US, I ultimately moved back to Fairbanks in 2012, twice divorced and embarking on a journey of being a single parent.  Dealing with depression, PTSD, and feeling at my lowest with no sense of self, I began working with troubled children as a Mental Health Technician to keep my mind busy and soon learned that I was passionate about helping others through their difficult times. 

 The reality, was although I held great empathy for others, there was work within myself that needed to take precedence. It was after the birth of my third child, that I began utilizing services like Public Assistance, not only for medical coverage, SNAP, and TANF, but for job and career placement as well. The experience wasn’t all bad, however, the last caseworker left a “taste in my mouth,” that set a fire in me to want to help others where they wouldn’t feel as judged as I had, at that time. I began studying at UAF, majoring in Healthcare Reimbursement and Social Work while working in a mental health private practice. It was during my employment that my paths passion was revealed to me, case management and life coaching.

 As the proprietor of Lotus Life Coaching and a Certified Life Coach, CLC, I embrace people seeking guidance and direction as they embark on their life’s journey. My extensive knowledge in community resourcing, case management, and participation in community supports my ability to connect clients to resources they require to meet their needs and achieve success. I look forward to working with each individual.
